Who says that you can’t take a great shot on a rainy day?

Don’t ever forget, that a simple hug from your Significant Other can change your mood drastically. Some one give me a hug…

During their engagement session they stopped to ask each other, “Do you remember the last time we were here? I forgot how nice it was.” Reminder to self, step back and enjoy the simple things in life.

In most of the weddings I’ve ever captured, the groom generally doesn’t want to partake in many pictures by himself. I hope this gives men a bit of courage to look great in front of the camera.

It’s that moment, right before the kiss that spews out and awe inspiring tingling sensation, or something of that sort. My dear friends Hien and Derek, I look forward to your wedding.

A photo that actually contended in an award. Although I didn’t win, the one statement that stood out was “this compelling image not only captures a powerful image, but prints a very profound story” Cheers.

6am on a weekend, why do I do it? Because that’s when the sun is out and gives this gorgeous glow. Lazy photographers will never get a shot like this.

This gorgeous shot was taken at a studio, it made for a great framed picture in the venue walkway. Give it a try, you might like it.

If you haven’t figured it out yet, I love, love, love images taken in direct sun light. The sun gives us light, so we can see things for what they are. Don’t forget to appreciate something you get to see everyday, whether it’s your Wife/Husband/Significant other or something as obvious as the sun.

This lovely wedding took place in San Diego, the Groom, a former Marine and currently a Fire Fighter. This guy just keeps giving to our nation. The thing that people don’t see, is that he was a British citizen. Thank you for everything you do.

It’s hard to remember sometimes where your love for each other stemmed from. As a reminder to future bride and grooms, don’t forget to have a little fun. It’s the reason why love worked for you.

Sometimes, love for a sport closely resembles the love you have for your significant other.

Not often enough, I have a gorgeous bride ask for a studio photo. Hopefully, more brides opt for it. I think it’s stunning and makes for a great wedding entrance picture.

The hardest part about doing photos is always remembering the little things. Sometimes, a couple insists that we find a great location. I say… sometimes the prettiest things are the eyes you were born with. You’ll make a lovely bride Erika

Weddings… it’s like a ray of sunshine. I suppose that’s the perfect way to describe this photo.

This backyard wedding… *cough, I mean… This home in the beautiful remote part of San Diego was such a fantastic venue. The groom, a United States Marine served our country, it was a huge honor to serve him in return.

This lovely bride, Meillanny has to be one of the most sincere people I’ve had the chance to meet and work with. Congrats to both you and Josh.

This lovely wedding took place at the San Diego Zoo. It was probably one of the more interesting venues in theory, but it worked very well in practice. Kudos to the fantastic florist who did an amazing job.

Here is a gorgeous image capture @ Laguna Beach. It was a terribly windy day, but it turned out to be a fun and inspiring photo shoot. Thank you S + V for being such a great couple.
